“I’ve always seen my calling as one where the creative and intellectual life of my mind were to be in service to God and His kingdom, but attending King’s helped me to clarify what God’s kingdom is supposed to look like and what it means to restore it.”
Alumni Feature: Carly (Hoilman) Kashmanian (’15)
“I credit my time at King’s for solidifying the Christian values I was raised with, while also providing me with the courage to defend these principles in both the public arena of modern media and within the four walls of my own home.”
Alumni Feature: J.P. Pressley (’19)
“I’m not just a content creator—I’m a gatekeeper. As I pitch and cultivate content I am uniquely positioned to help recalibrate the skewed moral compass of America and ensure that harmful content never sees the light of day.”
Alumni Feature: Ashley (’07) and Mark Thorne (’07)
“Phil Clements taught us that ‘in God’s world, business done right is a blessing.’ We believe this and our hope is to bless companies, their families, and their customers through our work.”
Alumni Feature: Penelope Morgan (’10)
“As Christians, we know that places are powerful things for human beings (something I learned at King’s!). . . . Our hospitality ministry is meant to give whoever passes through our doors a taste of God’s delight over them.”
Alumni Feature: Trevor Baier (’14)
“Being led to encounter great, fundamental ideas—and to take them seriously within community—began to dismantle my hubris and inculcate humility in its place. I was introduced to the nuances of a wide range of domains and had to reckon with the sophistication of thinkers far more insightful than I, throughout time.”
