David A. Palomares
Trustee
Dave Palomares grew up working and learning the value of entrepreneurship at the Johnsonville Sausage Company in Johnsonville, Wisconsin, which his great-grandparents founded in 1945. He studied business at Oral Roberts University, where he received two separate “Most Outstanding Student” awards and graduated summa cum laude, then earned an MBA from the University of Central Florida. Since then, he has spent his career as an entrepreneur in technology. His most recent undertaking is Monocle Research, co-founded in 2015, which consults with high-impact companies such as Google, Starbucks, and Diageo to create exceptional consumer experiences by understanding the emotions and aspirations that drive their customer bases.
Palomares’s passions include education, health, and economic growth in domestic and foreign settings. This led him to spearhead the creation of international development teams within the missions department during his time at ORU, and continues to fuel his involvement with his family’s philanthropic efforts. He and his wife Lauren reside in Orlando, Florida and attend Celebration Church there.
On joining King’s, Palomares said, “One of the great challenges faced by humanity has always been the development of leaders—men and women of excellence who are passionate about a vision and rally others to bring it into reality. Such innovators are already present on the team leading The King’s College and it is an honor to now serve alongside them in the common goal of empowering the leaders of tomorrow.”
