Politics, Philosophy, and Economics
I commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army through Fordham’s ROTC program, which meant that I had physical training three times a week at Fordham’s Lincoln Center, Central Park, or up and down the West Side Highway. Fridays consisted of a full day of PT, lab, and class, where we’d learn military customs, traditions, history, and tactics.
As I fit my degree around ROTC, King’s was very accommodating and my advisors and professors were helpful beyond words. They understood the extra commitment I had at hand and always made sure I was in the right class and on track to graduate on time. In a city that doesn’t always seem to appreciate those that sacrifice for their community or country, I was fortunate enough to go to a school which did.

Humanities
As an older student, and a military vet, I was nervous about finding a place to fully belong at King’s. When I met my House President at NSO, he shared with me his emphasis on pursuing our House value of Honor together. Hearing his vision and drive to band this group of men together for a worthy common goal allayed my fears and reinforced that I had made the right choice in coming to King’s.

Politics, Philosophy, and Economics
I was awarded an ROTC scholarship through the Army to attend The King’s College. Going to The King’s College helped prepare me to be a leader in the Army by ensuring I had a foundation in ethics and morality. As a military police officer, sooner or later I will be making important decisions that will alter many people’s lives. But with a strong belief in God that TKC fostered, I feel equipped to weigh the important ethical decisions I’ll need to make. This paired very well with the tactical knowledge I was given in ROTC, helping me to become a well rounded leader.
