Homeschool Students Thrive Here
Not only do homeschool students thrive in The King’s College community, but our community thrives because of them. Twenty-eight percent of our student body was homeschooled. The academic success and entrepreneurial spirit that homeschooled students demonstrate make them an excellent fit for King’s. Let us know if you would like to talk to a current student at King’s that was homeschooled, or if you’re interested in having a representative at King’s visit your homeschool co-op.
You Belong At King’s
Our Faculty Cares
The faculty and staff at King’s make an active effort to be involved in students’ lives. We have a 12:1 student to faculty ratio, and classes average 20 students. Outside the classroom, staff and faculty make themselves available as mentors.
Approximately 28% percent of the student body at King’s was homeschooled during their senior year of high school. Regardless of educational background, King’s attracts the type of student that is mature and invested in their education.
You’ll be placed into one of the College’s ten Houses, where other freshmen and upperclassmen will encourage and support your transition into college. You can also join student orgs to find classmates with similar interests.
“Educated through Classical Conversations, I grew up appreciating classic literature, discussing philosophy, and building relationships with my peers and elders. The King’s College is centered around these same ideas, and I have grown my Christian faith since coming to King’s.”
Madeline Montgomery (’17)
Mariposa, CA
“In college I wanted to continue studying with the rigor that Veritas Press had instilled in me. King’s was the perfect blend of rigorous Christian academics and real world business, media, and politics. Plus the small community gave me the perfect transition as a homeschooler going into a big city.”
Carter Fletcher (’18)
Destin, FL
“My favorite thing about King’s is the type of students and professors it attracts. I am making lifelong friends here who are striving to live the same kind of life as me, one that glorifies and honors God, and I am being taught by professors who are striving for that as well.”
