This spring, Bryan Nance (’08), Daniel Hay (’10), Chelsea Guffy (’10), and Chris Ross (’10) were sworn in as attorneys by the State of New York. Alexandra Harrison (’12) was sworn in as an attorney in the State of Texas. Congratulations!

Wendy Anne (Wilson) Hunt (’88) began a new position as director of Admissions and Events at The King’s Christian School in Cherry Hill, NJ. She has three books in print and is finishing another, a devotional; her website is HuntandPeckPress.com.

Erik Person (’92) earned his Ed.D in Sport Education from the United States Sports Academy in August 2015. He continues to teach physical education and sport psychology at Ledyard High School, Ledyard, Ct.

Margit (Larsen) Bengtson (‘93) and husband Todd welcomed their seventh blessing on March 23. Greta Joy Marie joins her six older siblings, from 17 down to 2. Margit and Todd lived in upstate NY for 21 years, and note that this is their first baby to be born in Mississippi.

Norm Hoyt, NBC (’94), writes, “Thanks all the way from Forest Springs Camp & Conference Center in Wisconsin. I am a Northeastern grad – 1994. Now directing one of the leading camping ministry educational programs in the country.”

Caitie (Hlushak) Sangalis (’11) writes, “Ted and I had a son, Augustine Thomas, on April 6th 2015. We’ve all survived his first year and are alive and celebrating with joy. He is named after the Saint from Hippo, and also my father and Ted’s former uncle.”

Rachelle (DeJong) Peterson (’13), valedictorian and wife of debate coach Josiah Peterson, has been chosen to participate in the Claremont Institute’s prestigious Publius Fellows program this summer.
