The King’s College Announces Simplified Tuition Pricing Structure

The King’s College is pleased to announce a simplified tuition pricing structure for new students who enroll in fall 2022 and beyond. Tuition for domestic students who enroll in fall 2022 and later is now $21,000 per year, adjusted from the previous published tuition rate of $37,000.

Domestic students (U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens) will also have the opportunity to qualify for merit-based scholarships and for need-based aid, which is calculated based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Tuition for international students will remain at the current rate of $37,000 per year to allow the College to appropriately resource the staff and programs that support international students. The costs of on-campus housing and student fees will remain unchanged for all students.

President Tim Gibson says,

At most private colleges in the country, there is an assumption that high price equates to high value. It’s true that providing a King’s education consistent with our mission is a costly proposition. The $37,000 annual tuition we advertised up to this point reflects the cost of maintaining our Christian presence in the heart of New York City with renowned professors who excel in delivering a King’s education and a dedicated staff who selflessly invest in the lives of students.

For years, we’ve been able to make an education from The King’s College financially feasible for students from varied economic backgrounds by offering significant merit- and need-based aid thanks to the generous support of donors and charitable foundations who believe in our mission. While this heavily discounted model follows a trend in higher education, it often results in confusion regarding the actual tuition costs.

As families face a new era of economic uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Trustees is proud to simplify the College’s tuition structure in an effort to increase accessibility and reaffirm the mission of The King’s College.
